Optoma EP7150 : budget pocket projector
Optoma has proved its point as regards professional and consumer videoprojection and does so once again with the announced DLP projector, the EP7150.
On paper, the EP7150 has all the quality required to satisfy a financially sheepish home-cinema amateur as much as a business road warrior. It’s the brightest multimedia data projector in its weight category and weighs no more than 2.7 pounds! It’s only 6.65in x 8.5in and pretty quiet with 33 dB in standard mode. With native XGA Resolution (1024 x 768) and 2,000 lumens your presentation’s bound to brighten up the meeting rooms. The EP7150 also accepts signals up to 1280 x 1024 pixels.
The only downfall is that you’ll need a DVI>VGA adaptor for instance, for it to take HD. The fact is it isn’t equipped with HDMI nor components.
