Optoma selects DVDO iScan VP50PRO for BigVizion 1080p rear projection solution
DVDO iScan VP50PRO is the world’s first and only THX Certified video processor featuring the latest VRS Technologies from Anchor Bay. The VP50PRO is also the first video processor to be HDMI 1.3 enabled allowing for True Deep Color. With its new 1.02 software version, it now offers HD-SDI input support as well as new calibration controls for ISF calibrators and custom installers.
Its popularity is growing, as Optoma has selected the full-featured iScan VP50PRO for their 80”-120” modular in-wall 1080p DLP rear projection display, known as the BigVizion.
Optoma chose the iScan VP50PRO for its extensive audio and video switching capability which allows the BigVizion to be used in various applications such as home theater, digital signage and video conferencing applications. Anchor Bay’s Precision Deinterlacing and Precision Video Scaling, which is standard in the iScan VP50PRO, insure that the quality of the larger-than-life image is maintained for this unique solution.
