New PS3 Firmware introduces DivX and ‘Picture in Picture’
Sony has announced a firmware update for the Playstation 3 that will give its owners the ability to download and play DivX videos enhances the Blu-ray drive by enabling ‘Picture in Picture’ – a feature that it has lagged in comparison with HD-DVD*.
Additionally, Firmware upgrade 2.10 will introduce a voice changer feature, enabling the user to change the tone of their voice during voice or video chat. The new firmware was announced on the company’s official US Playstation blog and is available for immediate download.
