The Opal range is characterised by the search for high level sound reproduction destined to best serve the dynamics of current digital sources. Everything has been done with this goal in mind: the magnetic circuits are very large in size (minimum 10 cm on the midrange and woofers), large volumes are accorded in bass-reflex, tweeters are titanium inverted domes, low to midrange speakers are double coils:

- the Opal line utilises Polyglass in its Woofers ’ a technique that consists of fixing, on the cellulose fibre cones of the speakers, hollow glass microspheres, via the intermediary of a resin. The grainy effect of the surface allows for a better spread of waves on the surface.

- the titanium of the inverted domes allows the speakers to obtain the impact and energy one might expect. It is a reminder of the techniques used in the Utopia range.

- the ridges of the boxes are bevelled for an improved spatial dispersion.

Home Cinema and hi-fi enthusiasts will have no problem putting together a complete, upgradeable system from this range.

The SR 10 range of Surround Speakers complete the line-up. They are sealed two-way speakers, equipped with the same cones as the other speakers in the range:

- an inverted dome tweeter with 20 mm ferro-fluid voice coil and 60 mm magnet,

- a low to midrange cone of 16.5 cm in Polyglass, 25 mm coil and 85 mm magnet.

As they are quite flat, they are easy to place on a wall. They only accept mono-cabling and are available in Rosewood and Black Ash finish
