Mitsubishi HC7000, HC6500 and HC5500 : new LCD projectors and 72 000:1 contrast (IFA 2008)
Segio Usui, Marketing Manager Europe for Mitsubishi shows us the new LCD projectors, starting with the HC7000 capable of a an amazing 72 000:1 contrast ratio. It uses a special iris and light treatment to offer deep blacks and no "pumping effect" from the iris. It's also very silent with only 17 dB. Next we see the HC600 with less contrast (15 000:1 but still very silent), and the HC5500.
