Cambridge Audio launches DacMagic digital to analogue converter (CEDIA Expo Denver 2008)
Cambridge Audio’s DacMagic upsampling digital to analogue converter will upgrade any PC, network music device, PlayStation and Xbox console or standard CD/DVD player to high end audiophile sound quality. Twin Wolfson DACs provide excellent stereo imaging. Adaptive Time Filtering (ATF™) asynchronous upsampling technology converts 16-24 bit audio data to 24 bit/192kHz greatly improving compressed music reproduction. A 32 bit TI Digital Signal Processor (DSP) eliminates jitter. The DacMagic has various connections including S/PDIF, Toslink and USB inputs. Other features include a choice of digital filters for each input.
